2) Oscar’s Mexican Seafood

We loved the spicy shrimp tacos. They were flavorful, spicy, and fresh tasting. The portions are small, so try many foods if you brought your appetite with you.

3) Altitude Sky Lounge
-Gaslamp District, downtown San Diego
This is an outside bar with unparalleled views and a relaxed vibe on the top of the Marriott hotel in the Gaslamp district downtown San Diego. The views of the city, the Coronado bridge, and Petco Park are outstanding. We recommend arriving earlier in the evening if you want to avoid crowds, a line to get in, and the nightclub scene.

4) Wonderland Ocean Pub

This pub is a casual eatery directly across from Ocean Beach. The beers are good and the open-air views of the ocean, beach, and pier are even better.

5) George’s at the Cove
-La Jolla, San Diego
The terrace is the best place to go if you prefer a more casual ambiance. While eating and drinking out on the terrace, you can look out over the expansive, beautiful ocean on a clear day. This eatery features excellent food, drinks, service, and ambiance. We recommend getting an advance reservation because it’s very popular.
