Highway to Hoeftland

Adventures with Kristin & Mike

Are you traveling to San Diego by way of your RV? Are you looking for a beautiful spot to unhitch and relax, and then go off and explore the fabulous city in Southern California? If so, consider reserving a bay view campsite at the Mission Bay RV Resort in San Diego.

Consider this spot (pictured), which backs up to the water.

Imagine sipping coffee and reading the newspaper from the comfort of your RV, while happily watching boats, paddlers, and seagulls go by in the bay—it is all viewable from your site if you reserve a bay view.

When you’ve had enough relaxing in your “home on wheels,” lock up your RV, and head out to explore the city where there are many activities, eateries, and places to enjoy. While you’re off exploring, rest assured knowing that there is a locked gate and 24-hour security on site back at the RV Park.

The Mission Bay RV Park is worth checking out if:

1) You want a convenient site with amenities in the city, close to all the action.

2) You are looking for a spot with a view.

3) You are willing to pay more to reserve a bay view site.

You can read more about the RV Park, reviews, and its amenities on TripAdvisor and on the RV Park Reviews website.

A Word of Caution

Sites in the middle of the park, without views.

Sites in the middle of the park, without views.

Non-water view sites at this RV Park are asphalt parking lot style, very close together, and without views. If you are looking for expansive nature out your door and a lot of space and privacy, a non-view spot in the middle of this RV Park is probably not a good choice (in our humble opinion). Although it looked like people in those spots were having a great time nonetheless!

Mission Bay RV Resort sites are specifically a great option for RVers who are “explorers on the go,” and enjoy the city life with lots of amenities.
